Kids at Heart along with The Larimer County Child Advocacy Center will be presenting their Stewards of Children Prevention Program .

 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually abused before their 18th birthdays. The median age for reported sexual abuse is 9 years old. And incredibly, there are over 39 million survivors spread across all socioeconomic classes! Only 10% of child secual abuse cases are committed by strangers; 90% of these incidents involve an adult known by the child and / or the child's family.

Darkness to Light's Stewards of Children is a revolutionary sexual abuse prevention-training program that educates adults to prevent, recognize, and reactresponsibly to child sexual abuse. The program believes and teaches that child safety is an adult's job. Stewards of Children is designed for organizations that serve children and youth.
