Kids At Heart - 2nd Annual Camp Fundango Kids at Heart is SO excited to let you all know that CoPARC has help fund camp this year, allowing us to be able to have a 2nd Annual Camp Fundango at Camp Timberline!! We are so grateful to the many who worked so hard to make this happen for us! What: Camp Fundango When: Friday August 20th - Sunday August 22nd Where: Camp Timberline, just past Estes Park Cost: $25/ person Who: Families consisting of parent (s) and children between the ages of 5-18. At least one child in the family needs to be classified as Foster / Kinship / Adopted. If families have children that are between the ages of 5-18 and also have children younger than 5, we will take children in the family that are 3 and older. Sleeping Arrangements: We have 13 rooms that have 7 bunk beds in each. So each room will sleep 14 campers. We work hard to place families together and also to have children the same sex and age in the room. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us and we will try to accommodate your needs. We have designed a camp for families to have time to play, have fun and bond as a family in a beautiful setting in the mountains above Estes Park! There is a zip line, climbing wall, a lake with a GIANT slide and a blob, a canoe and paddle boat. There is hiking, campfires, basketball & tennis courts, soccer & football field, disc golf and more. Mostly it is a time to focus on having a weekend of fun with your family AND to eat really well (the food is amazing!) We can only take 100 campers with us and we fill up fast! To reserve spots for your family please fill out the registration forms listed below and mail / drop off them along with your registration fee. Once we have received both, your family will be on the list. Just a reminder that funds are still available for families who live in Colorado and have adopted through the child welfare/foster care system. Families could receive up to $500 per child (under 18) per year for special needs that are not covered by Promoting Safe and Stable Families (PSSF), Medicaid or Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT). These needs could include therapy, evaluations, camp, respite care, orthodontics, parent training, tutoring, and more! For more information and a link to the application, please click here .
